House Point System (Updated 17/7/13)

Earning Points

• If someone recommended you to this forum, mention their name in a PM to me and their house of choice will receive 100 points.
  
• If you make a female student that gets accepted, the house you get sorted into receives five points.
  
• If you make a male student that gets accepted, the house you get sorted into receives 10 points.
  
• If you create a staff member that gets approved, the house of your choice will receive 100 points.
  
• If your character becomes a Prefect, your house will receive 50 points.
  
• If your character becomes a Head Boy/Head Girl, your house will receive 100 points.
  
• If your student is approved for a position on their house Quidditch team, their house will receive 10 points.
  
• If your character is chosen to be co-captain for their house Quidditch team, their house will receive 25 points.
  
• If your character is chosen to be captain for their house Quidditch team, their house will receive 50 points.
  
• Teachers/Hogwarts staff may give as many points as they see fit, please try to avoid favouritism.
  

Losing Points

• If your character is a student and you break a forum rule, your house will lose 10 points.
  
• If your character is a student and breaks a Hogwarts rule and gets caught by a teacher or the Head Boy/Head Girl, they are allowed to subtract as many points as they deem necessary, please avoid favouritism.
  
• If your character is a student and you post as coming in late to a class, your house will lose as many points as the teacher deems worthy.
  
• Teachers/Hogwarts staff may subtract any amount of points they see fit in any thread, please avoid favouritism.
  
• Students being caught out of bed past curfew is an automatic subtraction of 20 points if reported by a prefect, or caught by a teacher.
